What does a flashing check engine light mean?
A flashing light is a severe warning that the engine is actively misfiring. Continuing to drive sends raw fuel into the exhaust system, which can destroy the catalytic converter. Pull over safely and shut the engine off.
Can I drive with my check engine light on?

What's the difference between a basic code reader and a full diagnostic?
