Do I need an alignment after replacing suspension parts?
Yes. Removing and replacing a strut, control arm, or tie rod slightly alters the steering geometry. Skipping the alignment will cause the vehicle to pull and wear tires unevenly.
What is a CV axle, and why is it clicking?
The CV axle transfers power from the transmission to the wheels through flexible, boot-protected joints. If a boot tears, grease leaks out, dirt gets in, and the joint deteriorates — the clicking sound on turns means it needs replacement.
Why does my European car sag overnight?
Many luxury SUVs and sedans use air suspension instead of steel springs. A micro-leak in an air bag or a failing valve block lets the system lose pressure overnight, causing the car to sag.
How do I know if my shocks or struts are bad?
Push down firmly on a front corner and let go. If the vehicle bounces more than once or twice before settling, the shocks have likely lost their damping. Visible oil on the strut tube is another sign.
Is it safe to drive with a bad wheel bearing?
No. A failing bearing typically starts as a low humming or roaring noise that grows louder with speed. Left unaddressed, it can seize or allow the wheel to separate from the hub.
